Imitating Christ: Walking in the Spirit 3

Acts 10:38 "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil"

Luke5:17 "Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them."

I understand these verses to reflect that Jesus was truly our perfect example of how to live on earth.  Yes, Jesus was God on the earth, but he was also our example of how to live this life as well.

Jesus walked in the Spirit, and the Spirit enabled Him to both do good and heal all who were under the power of the Devil.

Is the Same Spirit that anointed Jesus in us?  Yes.

I don't think we realize the power we have at our disposal.  We can live a life that is empowered by the Spirit to walk in the supernatural.  Not only healings, but also doing good.  That's right!  Jesus was empowered to do good by the Spirit (see Acts 10:38)!

If you are lacking in the 'good' department, seek the Holy Spirit.  He worked for Jesus and if we want to imitate Christ we must trust the Holy Spirit as well!
