²⁰ "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

How often do you pray for other people?  It can be a hard thing to remember to do!  We all have our own needs and situations that we want changed but to pray like Jesus means to pray for those around you.  We have been focusing a great deal at Victory Church on community and Jesus reflects this communal focus in His prayer.  Jesus prayed for others.  We must pray for others as well.

Praying For Others Requires:

• Caring about the people around you
• Taking time to pray for them
• Listening to them speak so you know what is going on in their life
• Discipline.  I don't know about you but when I have needs of my own, it takes discipline for me to focus on others instead of myself.

This week, listen to the people around you and find out how you can pray for them.  It will not only change their life, but yours as well!
