I'm Coming Back with Isaac!

Yesterday I wrote a post concerning the curve balls of life.  As I was dwelling upon that truth last night, the Lord dropped something into my spirit that encouraged me and I want to share it with you.  Abraham was facing a severe test of faith.  God commanded him to sacrifice his child of promise, Isaac, on the altar.  This must have been extremely confusing - Isaac was Abraham's hope & future for a great nation.  How could this be?  As I said yesterday, amidst the confusion, Abraham was just obedient.

I want to give you another insight that has boosted my faith.  After 3 days of traveling to the place of the sacrifice (which must have been SO challenging), Abraham said the following:

5 Abraham told his two young servants, "Stay here with the donkey. The boy and I are going over there to worship; then we'll come back to you." Genesis 22:5 (MSG)

Don't miss this truth - Abraham was facing one of the greatest challenges of his life but he believed that somehow God would work a miracle on his behalf and Isaac would still be alive after the sacrifice.  Hebrews 11 tells us that Abraham actually believed God would just raise Isaac from the dead!  Abraham made a faith confession.  Those of you challenged, heed this truth:  God expects your faith to change the words of your mouth!  In Mark 11:23, Jesus states that when you "say" to your mountains "be removed and be cast in the sea" you will have whatever you "say".   When faith is in operation, your words will be impacted.

Abraham had faith, it impacted his confession, and yes, Abraham came back with Isaac.  For us, the declaration is simply,  I'm coming back with my Isaac.  Or, I am believing for full restoration, reconciliation, and deliverance in these circumstances.  I don't know how God's going to do it, but I don't have to know.  All I know is, IT SHALL COME TO PASS!  AMEN!
